Discovery Center to Host Monthly Graddy Playhouse Story Time Beginning This Summer

Families looking for a fun and educational way to kick off each month are invited to Graddy Playhouse Storytime at the Discovery Center of Springfield.

Held on the first Friday of each month at 10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., Graddy Playhouse Storytime offers children and their caregivers an engaging morning of stories, imagination, and hands-on learning inside the Graddy Playhouse exhibit. The monthly program will run through November, with the final story time taking place before the holiday season.

Each story time is designed for young children and encourages a love of reading while inspiring creativity through interactive storytelling. Following the reading, families are encouraged to continue exploring the Discovery Center's exhibits, including the Graddy Playhouse, where children can discover the value of community, teamwork, and imaginative play.

The Graddy Playhouse opened earlier this year through a partnership between Graddy Real Estate and the Discovery Center of Springfield, creating a permanent interactive exhibit where children can experience a kid-sized neighborhood while learning through play.

Storytime is included with Discovery Center admission or membership.
